    Corn Wtf Beware!!!!!!

ok so im on a cutting diet and normally pay great attention to what i put in my body. anyways had a family cookout today and instead of eating the stuff they ate my diet was pretty much on point only real carbs came from about total 1 cup of oats a banna and broc. throughout the day. anyways the one thing i did eat. CORN!!!!!! i thought i always heard corn had basically nothing in it. anyways i looked up the calories online yeah about 125 cals per ear and 30 carbs! that puts me at an extra 90 carbs for the day and when ur only trying to take in under 150 thats a big deal

You normally don't get all the calories from corn because it is very hard to digest. I wouldn't worry about it too much, especially because it was one day. Because they say there are X number of calories in a food doesn't mean that you are ingesting all of it. It's kind of like expecting to get sufficient iron from your spinach, it's not digestable even though it is in the food.

I would not be sweating over this. Jesus, relax a little. If you are that worried over some corn, you aren't training hard enough.

I avoid carrots and corn both when cutting. They arent a six-pack or brews or snickers, but they are loaded with cals/carbs.
