I have see it used in a few people and they where all very happy with the results...
Bump for more input ????????
Merc..
I remember that article... I read it several times...Its called Anabolic Burst Cycling Diet and Exercise or something like that. At the time, I thought it was sheer genius and it DID work...
BUT....when I got into gear and became a member here and learned about cycling, cutting, and bulking diets... I realized it was nothing new or ground breaking...it was something bodybuilders (pro/amateur/recreational) have always known and just Bill Ph****ps repackaging the information for the mass market...c'mon guys .... those mags are marketing tools for supplement companies...remember the CLA and HMB hype? wonder how many millions Bill made from that!
EDIT: Okay, I just re-read it. It does have some merits I admit but note how the interviewee completely disses and exaggerates standard bb dieting/bulking practices just to sell his theory. Also, I don't care how you put it, but telling the readers to pig out for two weeks isn't exactly promoting the importance of a good diet is it? It's just playing into the average joe's lack of discipline

Keep in mind is only effective if you are not using juice (or even have used juice recently) I have seen this work in real life... When it first came out everyone tried it but ended up getting fat because they did it while on cycle.. Not how it works. I am not saying it is the best by any means but it does have its place when done proper.
Merc.
can someone give me the gist as i have add
Basically, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, it is a 2 week bulking 2 week cutting system. You pig out (i.e. dirty bulking acceptable) for 2 weeks, get your requisite protein intake, and create a anabolic environment for your body to grow. Then, shock your system with extreme cutting (low to no carbs) the next 2 weeks to burn off the excess fat. Because each "cycle" is only 2 weeks, your body doesn't get complacent and fat burning and muscle building is constant in a 2 steps forward 1 step backwards manner. IN terms of exercise, I think you go real heavy 6-8 reps while bulking and medium to high reps 10-15 while cutting.Originally Posted by l2elapse
