Stomach and Lower back are usually the last place males lose fat. This is the hardest to lose, I will gaurantee you that all the working out and cardio will not even take this away if your food isnt right, its all about DIET DIET DIET to get that last ammount off and get you sub 10%bf

Also 174lbs at 12% is 153.12lbs lean muscle

You want to be 190lbs at 7% thats 176.7lbs lean muscle

That means you need to first put on 23 1/2lbs of muscle before you start to cut, you can not cut down to 7-8% and expect to put on 20+lbs of muscle.

More juice isn't going to make up for what is lacking in your diet.

how old are you. the reason I ask is that if you are 30 and you have only been working out for 2 years then it took you 28 years to put the fat on why would it only take you 2 years to take off. I know it is more complicated then that however my point is be patient. You can not spot reduce fat so if that is the last place you have excess fat then with proper deit and cardio it will come off.

you want your metabolism in high gear all of the time...bulk up, lean out later.

Do a clean bulk, gain your muscle, maintain your diet and cardio, and remember the magic in the equation is time....

I think a lot of people consider "bulking" to be bad for an overweight person...

If a person is a fat ass, and asks, how can I lose weight, my reply is always eat clean, bulk up, and lose weight. (and proper cardio)

The new training program for a beginner or a person out of shape will show great results. Even on a clean bulking diet.

Cutting is used to drop from say 14% to sub 10's.
