When cutting, should I have a cheat day?

im coming up to finishing the first week out of 8 of my cutting diet. i have seen diff discussions where people have a day where they eat what they want or increase to prevent the body getting used to the diet.

what is the best foods to eat on a cheat day??

Is this cheat day worth it??

besides the bloating feeling yea its worth it ... but dont go to extreme like 3000 calories in one sit down.... but depending on your diet .... and what your macros are...... but if you are very strict then yea .... a cheat meal will confuse your body.... and benefit...

Agree. People use bodybuilding as an excuse to be a pig. Don't do that.

Cheat meal is good...now a cheat day...it can be done, keep it clean for the most part but if ya want a burger or maybe a slice or to of pizza...won't hurt nothing. I prefer just a cheat meal to get it out of my system.

You might want to post your diet in the diet section cos it could do with some improvements. The basics are there, but like I say a few improvements could be made.

A few I can see are: Swap meal 6 and 7 around (pb will slow digestion of chicken whilst you sleep, Shake is fairly fast digesting)
Swap meal 1 for egg whites and oats. Alpen has sugar in and a shake is second rate to food.
Be aware Meal 2 will have simple carbs in if you include fruit.

I've left Cardiff now. I've trained in most gyms in Cardiff ('cept Fitness first) most recently Peak Physique.

I have posted it up in the diet section but no one has responded to it.

will swap meal 6 and 7 round, makes sence. if i stick to the foods in this diet would some fruit at meal 2 be bad, if so ill drop it.

how many egg white = 50g protien

Cheat meal is acceptable, but never "good" in terms of it helping you other than giving you a mental break from being on a rigid diet.

Forget a cheat day, thats beyond being moderate.

If you do recieve a physical "confusion" due to the higher calorie meal or meals then one could consider that a benefit, dont you agree? That is, causes your body to react by increasing or at least not dropping metabolism, etc. If this is not the case then yes, it is just a mental benefit.
