I know alot of people on this forum when they have their shakes in the morning or whenever, they put oats and pb in it. does this have to be done in a blender?. . I have Quaker oats and whenever i put them in my shaker they always sink to the bottom. . any suggestions?

yea i dont think u have a choice, use the blender then use a spoon to scoop em out at the end or just keep stirrin it and drinking it to keep the oats in "solution"

I asked a similar question and was told to grind the oats in a coffee grinder first so I just did that tonight and will be testing it in about 10 minutes from now I used the coffee grinder in the grocery store where I bought the oats.. I just bought a new thing of oats, stuck half of them in the coffee grinder and set it to "fine" and they came out great... I'll let you know how it goes in practice rather than theory in a little while

O.K. bro... I just had two heaping tablespoons of finely ground oats in my muscle milk with skim milk... now, to me, muscle milk is a little grainy anyway unless you let it sit for a couple minutes and shake it several times. I am usually too lazy to bother waiting and just drink it as-is with its very bearable grainy-ness. Adding in the finely ground oats gave a little bit more grainy-ness to the texture but still nothing approaching unbearable. It was totally drinkable and the oats stayed in suspension no problem. I will likely mix in 4 heaping tablespoons next time which will be about a 1:1 ratio with the musclemilk or whey protein powder (whichever I'm drinking at the time).

You all mix that stuff together?
I would just eat it separately.

Buy powdered oats online. They stay in solution.
