    Another breakfast question.....

my question is.... seeing as how breakfast is the most important meal of the day, what should it mostly consist of?

Protein and Carb with little to no fat?

mostly carb with protein and fat?

let me share some more info with you, im on a cutting diet, you know, leaning while gaining muscle mass with very little to hopefully godwilling no fat gain at all

but im reading alot of men magazines regarding dieting, the ab diet power 12 and all that good stuff, and they have KILLER breakfast recipes, but all of them are like 30g+ of protein, 40g+ carb and 10g+ of fat !!!

what with that ?!!!??! so should i have like a BIG mix of everything !?!?!?

if you can guys can help me out on this, i would greatly appreciate it!! thanks everyone!!

i like to seperate carbs and fat when cutting even for breakfast, So mine usually is pro/carb with the next meal being pro/fat

but with most pro/carbs meals there is gonna be a little bit of fat (up to 6-7g) but that wont matter too much

When cutting, I keep my breakfast to pro/fat
however, when off, i don't think it's a big deal to combine fats and carbs as long as the fats are good and the carbs are slow digesting. It's your first meal of the day, your body needs the whole range of nutrients...you also have the rest of the day to go so the breakfast calories will be used up before being stored. Also, I've never gotten fat from a full three-macro breakfast

    just my .02
    cheers

    yes sir...that's not bad...

When we say not to mix fats into a pro/carb meal, you're gonna have a some small amount of fat....just keep it low, don't be getting up there where your fat is damn near the same amount as carbs...

so if protein is lets say 30g+ and carb is about 40g+ then is 10-11g of fat ok? or that is to high comparing the pro/carb intake?

    ud be surprised !!

for the past 5 months, my meals have not had more than 4.5g of fat EACH !! remember, i wouldnt eat more than 30g of fat a day to lose weight, and in 6meals a day, i did it perfectly !!!

NOW that im slimmer, i am eating more fats since fat is needed to increase test and build muscle (ex: coconut oil)
