are you mixing with water?
i used vp2 for a while but didnt feel bloated.
I use optimum now and i love the cost and dont mind the small carbs
I get about 300 grams of protein per day in the form of Zero Carb Isopure and Optimum 100% Whey and have noticed the same thing. It really dosent make a lot of sense, but they do seem to cause water retention for some reason.
YES, most protiens have fair bit of sodium and generally make you bloated, something that helps a bit, is let the shake sit for a bit until all the bubbles go out, less air=less bloat. 300g of protien from shakes is way to much, eat real food, pretty easy to get 300g from real food, then just 1 or 2 shakes to top of intake, if dieting cut shakes out, and you'll find you look tighter.
