    Beating the thanksgiving fat gain!! Feedback please!!

    weeeeeell...... maybe if i just eat only PROTEIN and FAT for thanksgiving, i shouldnt get fat since im not eating carbs right??

    here is what i ate last night, and even so far 3 times today !!

    alot of brisket, turkey, sausage and chicken.... but NO mashed potatoes, gravy, bread and stuffing or anything of that nature

    not even DESSERTS !!! (pecan pie, tres leches, chocalte dipped pretzels, etc.. etc..)

    so now i ask you guys.... u think i did good by not eating carbs??

    since all my meals since 5pm yesterday have been nothing and i mean NOTHING but Protein and Fat, i should be ok right? my insulin levels have been low

    so what do u guys tihnk? is this a smart move? or not?

    or can i get fat still by eating all that meat?!?

    i hope not !!! but please some feedback would help

    That works well. You should have ate some veggies to get a little carb content though. I eat similar to that all the time while cutting. It is the only thing that works at all for me. You probably have nothing to worry about. You were losing weight on a pretty high carb diet so I don't think you are very prone to fat gain. I bet you'll keep making progress at the same rate.

    Dude I already told you in your other thread. You arent understanding at all. If you take in more calories than your body burns you WILL put on weight. It doesnt matter if the calories are from fat protein or carbs. It makes NO difference and you MUST understand this.

    Get the damn 1980's Oprah Winfrey idea that carbs make you fat outta your head because its as stupid as thinking that if a pig shits in your underwear you will grow a f*ckin banana outta your ass. It is just NOT RIGHT.

    this is great advice,i was being led to belive that by reducing carbs alone i would loose fat,it works a little but nothing like what you think,use the a cal calculator and watch you cals and carbs together..stay away from carbs after 7pm till 7am and you will make great progress

    Its only one day bro,not a big deal eat your asss off and get back on your diet the next day. And if your REALLY concerned just eat turley and yams

    absolutely...bottom line man, if you eat more than you burn you will gain weight...its simple human anatomy

    So much for the no flame policy. lol.

    I think one would be hard pressed to eat more fat/protein than they could burn. Just because of how inefficient they are as fuel sources, and they are so damn filling too. I have heard of people doing it though. Compulsive eaters and that sort.

    The real fact of the matter is that it's the calories that are in your blood available to cells minus the sum total of each cells total output. And even then manipulating hormone levels via natural diet/exercise options still plays a part.

    Plus everyone is different. You just have to find that formula that works for you. Your body type and other genetics are a good place to start as far as figuring it out too.
