What's a good protein shake for cutting?

I used to take NLarge2 protein for gaining weight and bulking.

Now that I'm trying to lose fat I want to get a protein shake that's good for that.

    Any suggestions?

    thanks

No protien shake will cause you lose fat, propor DIET and training will. Supplement your DIET with a protien isolate

Muscle Milk is crap, stay away from the sugar infested fat loaded pile of poo. If you're carb sensitive I would look into getting some whey isolate (zero fat zero carb). GF Pro by Ergo is tasty and works well although mixes poorly, also look into Dave Palumbo's brand, Species, he has a whey isolate that is supposedly very tasty and mixes better.

Actually taking no protein shake is the best solution. What I mean is that replacing you rshake by food will actually help you lose weight because unlike the shake your body has to metabolize, breakdown and digest the food. Which requires calories spent, unlike the shake.

The science that I've seen on this and other similar ideas suggest that the effect is minimal at best. Same with "drink cold water because your body will expend calories to warm it up" theory. Seriously.......

Not hating on you Prada, just stating what I've read. You know as well as I that we could find an article on just about any idea on cutting or bulking if we looked long enough....

For the original poster.....try to find a BULK protein that you can mix with water and still have some good taste too. Alot of the companies out there sell good stuff.....Ergopharm has GF Pro, BSN has Syntha 6......but they all only sell in 2.5 pound tubs and can be expensive. Check out something like Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey which you can buy in 5 lb bags for less than $40 on a certain web site. Good protein, cheap price for bulk.....and you can add whatever you want to a generic vanilla flavor so this LARGER bag will do well in a cut or bulking cycle!

Not worried about all the added sodium in the V-8?
