I would guess your water intake is not high enough.

Most people get "hunger" pains when in fact they are simply not hydrated enough.

Depending on your stats, I would at least drink 1 gallon a day.

Yeh water intake makes a big difference, also if drinking cold water it takes calories to drink that FYI.
    I drink between 1-2 gallons a day.
I just carry a 1 liter pepsi or coke bottle around since it is 50fl ounces and a gallon is 128 figure 2 1/2 of those get you to a gallon, but you will be pissing alot, space out your water intake all day, not within 4 hours.

Quick guide to make sure you are drinking enough water:

    1. Pissing every 40-45 minutes
    2. It's as clear as water

Whenever I wake up in the middle of the night it is usually for something sweet....I can't tell you how many times I have got up in the morning with an empty coke next to the bed and don't remember drinking it..... What I do now is take 5-10g of glutamine with water or sometimes a small shot of OJ. I hardly have any cravings these days. Glutamine helps with sweet cravings, I sh!t you not!
