    Breakfast thoughts?

Normally I'll have 6-7 egg whites + 1/4 Cup of oats + 2 fish oil Capsules.
No yolks as I get my fats from my fish oil.

Sometime Im not in the mood for eggs, like this morning.
I figured Id use 40g Whey protein since my body just fasted and some sustained carbs oats.
Blended this together in my blender, then took my fish oil pills and then multi vitamins.

I prefer whole food, but this morning I didnt have the time nor did I feel like eatin egg whites.
But Also having my whye protein gave me 40g of protein where as the egg whites give me maybe 15-20g at most.

I am cutting so, trying to keep things a lil low.

Pre-Thanks for everyones thoughts and comments.

I personally use Syntha-6 for my protein source in my first meal of the day. Syntha-6 is not a "Whey" protein. It is a slow burning protein and it is the best tasting protein ever made.

But you need to make sure Syntha-6 fits into your diet. It is higher in carbs etc. than your average Whey protein.

    Here are the stats

    2 Scoops Syntha-6

    400kCals 12g Fat 26g Carb 46g Pro

As far as simple or complex carb source..I would think they are complex. Remember it has 6 different sources of Protein hence the name.

Wow your cals are really low for breakfast. Cutting or not you are barely getting any fats or carbs there.

Ya granted we dont know his stats or anything so we are speculating. But c'mon 26g of carbs for any grown man is NOT enough plain and simple.

I mean yes you are cutting so we need to keep that in mind. But Even cutting I wouldnt go under 50 unless you are going into keto or some contest prep and you retain water easilly.

I agree, unless u are cutting for a contest droping ur crbs that much is not wise. This is because when u switch to bulking and eat more crbs ur body will probably cronvert most of them to fat as it will be used to function with little of them.U should always bear this in mind when u get at something like 10% of ur diet in crbs!
