    Waxy Maize and Whey Protein

I usually have 2 scoops (1 oz each) of Waxy Maize (generic Vitargo...apparently close to corn starch) and 1.5 scoops of Now Whey Protein Isolate Chocolate flavor with 1/2 small banana. Pre workout I've been having 1 oz soy protein isolate with 1.5 tsp nesquick and 1/2 small banana. On non weight workout days I try to use more real food like fruit and yogurt for pre and post cardio workout (usually in the afternoon).

Straight After Workout: Protein Slam (27g protein, 1.5g Beta Alanine- all in a test tube like shot! Great!)

When i get home - Thin Steak and 3 skinless chicken breasts. All on the George Foreman, of course.
Washed down with a whey protein shake with 30g Dextrose, 50g Maltodextrin. :-)

Depends on the day and what I trained. But it would usually look like.

10oz tilapia with 2 cups oatmeal and 2 slices of bread.

    PPWO (1hr after PWO)

    1cup brown rice

Where did you get this fifteen minute figure from? Everyone's PWO plan varies. The carb sources you referred to are not fast-digesting. Alot of people prefer whole food PWO.

For years I followed the "get the PWO shake in within an hour of training" and made nice gains from that. Over the past year I've been taking Xtend aminos with 40-60 grams of protein over the course of my workout and NOT taking a PWO. Interesting ideas, and different things work differently for everybody.

In regards to the above post, same as what I just stated in regards to different things working differently for everybody. The mainstream idea seems to be you want a fast digesting carb and protein IMMEDIATELY after training because this is the optimal time for your body to absorb the nutrients. The brown rice, oats, etc are more slow digesting and not IDEAL for PWO, but in this game you've gotta find out what works best for YOU.

One of my favorites after a FILTHY leg or back day would be a can of Coke, 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream and 50 grams of protein......Not something to do on a CUT diet or very often.....but DAMN is it good!

Read as much as you can from the magazines, articles, etc and you'll find out that there are so many ideas out there it's insane!
