How does 1 cup of Oats equal 54g Carbs? More like 27g
I am also wondering where you got your calculations to "Cut" on 2400+ kCals? At your height and weight, I would put you around 1900kCals to maintain your weight. I do not know how old you are though so it might be a little more but 2400kCals is to much.
I'm 6' 225 and cutting on a little over 2600kCals right now.Last edited by Panzerfaust; 12-17-2007 at 08:52 PM.

1/2 cup of my oats is 27g, so 1 cup is 2 x that, Which is what I ate this morn.
I am 24
Ate ground turkey today at 8oz and having 1 cup of cottage cheese, trying to minimize protein shakes with real food.
Here is what I had today

Ok, now that the Oats question is out of the way. Where did you get that you need 2400+kCals to cut? And how long have you been on this diet?

From a friend that does BB.
Well the oats thing as far as 54g used to be 1/4 of a cup rather than 1 whole cup, but it was determined that I needed more carbs in the morning as I was only getting 13.5
Please make any recommendations.
I Think I am going to change my meat.

Well I just calculated and saw that If I dropped the bison and changed over to ground turkey
for breakfast and the next 2 meals, and have 1/2 cups of oats in the morning I save 300+ calories
Which would bring me down to about 2000
Just did something else, Considering my weight 172 x 1.5 g protein I only need say 260g.
Currently Im getting about 300g protein.
If I did my ground turkey in 6oz sizes id go from about 2300 calories to 1800 along with the changes above.Last edited by jackjackson; 12-18-2007 at 07:55 PM.
