    Talking Best meat, leanest?

I normally get Bison 90% lean.
I just got 93% lean Ground beef Sirloin.
I want something in a decent amount of protein but no so much fat.

The bison I was eating had about

    22g Of fat per 8oz I was eating 8oz
    40g Protein
    Calories 380
The 93% lean Ground beef Sirloin.
    16.5g of fat per 6oz, I am eating 6oz vs 8oz
    43.5g Protein
    Calories 306
Just calculated the bison to 6oz and This is what id be getting
    Total Fat 16.5g
    Protein 30g
    Calories 285
Goal right now is to shave some calories.
    Also at my weight 172 x 1.5 = 258g protein a day.
    Which I would get.

Maybe I answered my own question here, but I want others thoughts and opinions.

I would really like to eat fish but Im not a real big seafood eater.
Alough tuna is great in protein and low in calories, Not sure if it would hold me over 2-3 hours.
I heard that fish called "talopy" or "jalopy" is awesome, not sure of the name

    Its tilapia.
Fat in fish in general is good fat Im not sure why you would worry about that rather then carbs.
Bison is really much better in comparison to beef, is much more natural, naturally fed. I would chose former over the latter for sure. You should really focus on complete macros.

    Former over the latter?

I agree bison is leaner and more natural, I get it raw from Wholefoods

Im trying to cut back on calories a bit, but shaving some off some meals.
Like from eating 8oz raw to 6oz raw.
    from Calories 380 <--8oz
    to Calories 285 <--6oz
So id sae about 300 calories right there, As im am trying to cut.

Im allergic to dear meat, we hunt that on the Indian reservation in Wisconsin.
Honestly I rather make all my food myself than buy anything from a restaurant.
All there doing in the restaurant is making it, but I dont know what there adding, how many ounces raw, do they weight it raw before they make it like i do, does it sit in a skillet and cook along with the fat?
I prefer my foreman grill 108cf

Sorry...idk if u read it right it right it is raw... I worked there 4 over a year they get it shipped daily from montana. from Ted Turners Personal Bison ranch (idk if u know who he is but he is a very wealthy enviromentalist...he owns TNT TCM and used to own the Alanta Braves ect....) u just walk in there and ask for ground bison or whatever cut u want and they sell it to u raw still in package no additives...Personally i believe it is a very reputible place...i am similar to ur believes with resturant food

Anyone eat london broil? Here is the nutr. info:

    Calories 174(Kilojoules 727)

    % DV**
    Total Fat 7 g 11%
    Sat. Fat - 0%
    Cholesterol - 0%
    Sodium 292 mg 12%
    Total Carbs. 2 g 1%
    Dietary Fiber - 0%
    Sugars -
    Protein 25 g

It gets pretty tough if you cook it too long. It didn't say how many ounces were in a serving, but I was thinking maybe 3-4oz? I am not sure though.

this is pretty much all i buy besides 93/7 ground beef. we dont have bison around here.
i cut mine into smaller strip like steaks and they only take a couple minutes to cook, it tastes best rare to med rare.

    I normally burn mine.
I rather eat it burnt knowing its cooked.
I use the george foreman grill for all my meat, makes it easy.
Im sure they have bison somewhere out there.
Try finding a "Whole Foods" market out there.
Im going back to bison, once im done with these 3 other pounds of ground sirloin
I used this baby, cooked 6 6oz burger likes at a time or
    4 8oz burgers like at a time

Yeh foreman is hard to clean but I normally clean it asap before it sticks.
Bison to me taste like beef just a little dryer

exactley jackjackson bison meat is dry as hell, but i would go with the sirloin if you are wanting red meat it just taste better to me, and you can get the foreman now that comes apart and put it in the dishwasher

Yeh but that foreman that comes apart is smaller than the jumbo one I have.
I cook 5 -6 pounds of bison at once, I rather do 3 -4 small sets versus 6.
Im not going for taste, im going for protein and caloric intake overall

Flank steak is one of the leanest red meats...
