I've mixed it into my oats after they are cooked, never saw a reason to cook the whey too.

The whey will curdle of you cook it with the oats. It's pretty nasty. Its best to add your protien after the oats are cooked and cooled a little.

thanks for the respond i think i will add it to the oats after its been cooked. i just didn't know if it was a good idea to cook the whey along with the oats at the same time thought it would do something to the whey if you cooked it thanks

I usaully cook the oats with a minimul amount of water so when they are done I can add some milk to cool em and then add the whey and it absorbs perfectly.

Like this morning, I didnt have time for eggs and oats and stuff.
So I did 2 scoops of whey and blended 1/2 cup of oats into it raw.
Worked out really good, would have prefer to eat food but I woke up late.
So just blend it in there

ya the only reason i asked if you could cook the whey along with the oats. was my lady made me some old fashion oats with some low fat milk and some honey and i wondered if you could throw the whey in there while it was cooking. i thought i read somewhere that it was no good to cook the powdered whey protein.

Honestly then your better off going with the protein plus Oatmeal in a cup.
Like 2-3$ per cup, Thats pretty much what your doing, but I understand what you mean.

I pretty much do this every morning. I use a whole cup of oats though. If you blend them alone for a minute they turn to powder. Then I just add 10 oz or so of water and 2 scoops whey and down the hatch it goes.

you can cook it in there; it just tastes better when you add it after.

I've tried eating oats a few times and I honestly can't eat them the way you are suppose to , i gag and throw up I don't know why but it's the most discusting thing to me I can eat grose shit but not oats. Maybe I'll try blending/crushing them and drinking them that might solve my problem!
