kinda depends on what your goals are in your diet, there are some great diet samples in the stickies here on the forum. But there are a lot of here that are more than willing to help you out.
Well I posted a thread in another section of this forum, but i think i figured out what i need to do. I was in a accident back in 2001. My legs were severely broken and arm practicaly shattered. I have been through 18 surgeries. I put on a extreme amount of weight do to lack of exercise and depression due to accident and significant losses in accident. I am currently 6'2 and weigh 340lbs. I have strengthend physically and emotionaly and know its time to get in shape. I want to lose weight and of course build muscle and strength. clueless on how to about doing so the right way. Any help is appreciated.

But to get you pointed in the right direction, Tuna, chicken (grilled), egg whites, 100% Whole wheat bread, Cottage cheese, and Whey Protein are going to be fixtures in your life if you stick to a good low cal high protein diet.
