    lol...peanut butter?!?!? I'd WISH...here's the deal:

Immediately PWO, you need to get the amino acids into your blood pretty fast, and then you need some insulin to shuttle them into your muscles. Peanut butter has a high fat content so it would slow down the digestive process HUGELY. It would actually not be too bad as part of a PWO meal, but not as part of your PWO drink/snack.

eating carbs and protein is a tried and true PWO. the whole insulin thing is a bro-myth unless you are injecting. you basically want to stop cortisol production and start protein synthesis. aminos and carbs do that the quickest. save the PB for before bed.

and don't get too caught up in the whole anabolic / catabolic lingo. people throw those words around way too much. if your fat tissue was anabolic that wouldn't be good now would it?

okay i appreictae the advice guys. MY PWO shake is a high calorie/ protein drink made specifially for muscle building and i usually mix in a lil pb for flavor and extra protein. I guess i will stop now..thnx.
