    Protein shakes?

Is it ok to start drinking 3 shakes a day instead of 1? My new schedule has limited me to how much i can eat a day. So what if i ate 3 meals a day and did 3 shakes? I am using 2 scoops of syntha 6 per serving. Thanks

Dont mean to rain on your guys parade but thats not healthy in a long term sense..... I actually went to go see a proffessional nutrionist over protein shakes. I drank 100 %EAS WHEY PROTEIN... more than two servings a day is horrible on your liver and your kidneys.. This is why body builders end up in dialisis... Your body doesnt absorb it good in big amounts either.... If i was you you i would limit yourself to 2 shakes....Make sure one is directly after your workout!!! Those were the words of a professional !!! Good Luck and Bren back off the shakes your crazy and in 10 years your gunna start having some major problems

i used to have 3 shakes a day when i was first starting out to max out my calories.

nowadays i only have 1 shake after my workout and thats it. i get the rest of my nutrition from solid foods, which as most people will tell you, is a better way to go.

honestly it is ok. but is there anyway you can bring a small lunch box with some chicken and broccoli? knocking that down from 3 o 2 would even be beneficial. i know life doesn't make it easy to eat whole foods at times, but do your best to get a real meal in there.

More than two servings? Thats like 40 grams of protein is all? What professional nutritionist is this? Don't you think bodybuilders end up in dialisis because of AAS use more than too many protein shakes. Whats the difference in eating 40 grams of chicken or 40 grams of whey? Other than the solid food stays with you longer. Three shakes a day is fine.

My buddy whose a nutrionist said 100% of whey is absorded, chicken 98%, beef around 50%

So is it the whey passing through your body thats bad or what, cuz if its absorbed what is so bad about it that a bunch of water can't fix.

you body absorbs whey more efficently in smaller amounts anyways.... and it is bad for you that why the FoodDrugAdminstration wont approve it....And im talking bout long term....which i dont know many body builders who do not have problems after thier time has passed.. Natural Body Building is the way to go and that still isnt 100% healthy
