Beans question. Which one is the best?!

    i love beans !!

complex carbs, full of fiber AND protein !!!

but im a bit confused on one thing.... which "bean" is actually the healthiest? the bestest?

i read the back of all the Goya cans and i see that the macros are about the same on all of them, with the excpetion of kidney beans having 1 extra gram than the rest....

soooo..... are all the beans the same? i mean... they have different colors and flavors, im sure its for a good reason

can anyone shed some light for me on this? thanks!!

i love black beans!! but then i also love the texture of the kidney beans

but then the pinto beans in jalapeno sauce, mmm.......

    help !!

If they have the same exact macros shouldn't you assume they're the same? I eat pinto and black occasionally but you wouldn't want to hang out with me after.

if they fit into your macros they are all essentially he same. each has a slightly different profile, but in this case, one doesn't specifically out benefit the other. i used to eat lima beans a lot.

string beans.. preferably fresh, if not then go frozen, but never in the can.. too much salt..

    hope that helps..

I've read that small red beans are one of the most abundant source's of antioxidants.not sure if they are good for your diet.
