    Pwo Cardio

Just joined an amazing gym in my area, and my friend works at the juice bar. He gave me a $100 credit, and they have a pretty sick selection of some tasty looking shakes!!!!! I usually blend some whey an oats after cardio, followed by a solid meal 1.5hrs later. This being my first month at this gym I am going to switch everything up including exercises. I just want to be lazy for 1 month and have a shake on the way home without dealing with packing oats, cleaning the shaker/blender,etc. My question is most the shakes are protein and fruit based, so what would someone like me who never used fruit PWO cardio shoot for? Also does anyone have a good recommendation for a shake PWO cardio, as well as weights, this dude will make whatever!!!

fruit will not replenish muscle glycogen. it replenishes liver glycogen so the carbs are not acting in the same manner.

Fructose will replenish liver glycogen until liver glycogen is at capacity; moreover, fruits contain other sugars, in addition fructose. Fruit will lead to the replenishment of muscle glycogen.

For PWO, fruit will do the trick; however, with that said, many would argue/suggest better methods for muscle glycogen replenishment.

not all of the sugars in fruit act that way.
