Protein amounts on cycle. Not just maintaining

I know we hear it all the time to eat aroung 1g or even 1.5g of Protein for every lb of body weight.

I want to know what to eat on cycle.
Is the 1g per 1lb rule for ordinary people on normal exercise/diet.

Im doing a major bulk cycle and aiming for around 5500-6000 calories a day.
Im so stuffed I could puke lol
If we stick to the 40:40:20 Protein:Carbs:Fat ratio then how many grams of protein is that???

Iv seen it on here before but cant find it now
Is it 1g of protein or carbs = 4kcal
    and 1g of fat = 9kcl

No need to be sorry bro... admin will have to move it, just pm admin. You will get good feedback in that section... it is a fairly active section and bros are helpful. But to get you started on this.... the 1gram of protein = 4 cals... not 4k... also the best way to explain the 40/40/20 would be the percentage of your macro food intake for your targeted goal and weight, which it seems you are on to this, but no one will do the math for you on your diet... Read the bulk thread on that section and then everyone will ask you to make a diet with your stats and goals and then they will critique you and explain further.

I like to make sure I have more then enough protein and this is very important when on a cycle. Make sure you get the most out of the cycle you can. An after work out protien shake is a must and gives me more then the 100% RDA.

No problem, Im hitting that easy without overdoing the shakes.
Hope my kidneys can handle all that protein-damn its a lot!!

Is the 1g per 1lb rule for ordinary people on normal exercise/diet. Only if they were looking to get bigger. Normal sedentry people who dont train can get buy on very little protein.

If we stick to the 40:40:20 Protein:Carbs:Fat ratio then how many grams of protein is that??? based of 6000 cals it would be 40% = 2400 / 4 = 600

Iv seen it on here before but cant find it now
Is it 1g of protein or carbs = 4kcal correct
    and 1g of fat = 9kcl correct

    hope that helps

PB is right based on the calories you provided ~6000~ that is how many grams of protein you would need. Now at your weight and based on other stats I think you are overestimating your needs. Becareful it will add fat. You only need in the vicinity of 350g
