    Macros Question

Starting a cutting diet, currently 240 lbs and about 20%. Macros are going to be almost exactly 50% Protein, 25% Fat, 25% Carbs. Daily totals will look like this

    300g Protein
    80g Fat
    150g Carbs

    Caloritic total of 2545 Kcals

My question is about the PWO meal and how I use 80g of dextrose in my shake. On non training days I don't use the dextrose so then should my totals for a non training day look like this?

    Non Training Day

    300g Protein
    80g Fat
70g Carbs (No dextrose in the shake)

    Caloritic total of 2225 Kcals

Yes, you need to keep low carbs on a cutting diet, and use them to produce energy and recover from workouts. So when you don't train you need them for breakfast only.
Plus you need less calories when you don't train, so cutting them from carbs is a good deal.

So you think my targets look good for training and non training days?

I'd probably use less dextrose and replace it with a complex carb such as maltodextrin... depending on how insulin sensitive you are.
