    cumulative grams needed?

    i am 6' and 170 lbs and am working on getting a strong diet i will be logging intake of foods i need to know what you guys think my target intake for gaining weight will be ...........i need to know

    carbs
    fats
    calories

    Step 1- find out your BMR

    Don't forget to multiply it by an activity factor using the Harris Benedict formula... the common factor is 1.55 (moderately active)

    Start with BMR. Then figure 1.5g protein per pound of lean body mass and then you need at least a minimum 50g of EFA's. Then the rest carbs to get to your daily calorie needs. I would guess about 40-30-30 if maintaining weight and maybe 50-25-25 if cutting. Bulking might be 40-40-20 or even more carbs. I don't think that there is an absolute answer to this question.
