How often and what kinds of food are we talking?
well to be honest i think as long as you're ON your game (diet wise / working out ) you should be fine..... try to eat food that has SOME good as well as the bad. For me I eat great monday - friday, saturday I will eat a meal that isn't part of my mon-friday meals like a rubios burrito or street tacos or something of that nature.... possibly sunday I will eat one more cheat meal like in n out 2 2x1's 2 burgers, 2 meat 1 cheese on each.... (no salt) now that's not good for you at all but it does have protein which is at least better for you than eating donuts or something. People might not be cool with what my style is but I say if you eat 1 cheat meal saturday and 1 cheat meal sunday then are spot on the other meals as well as monday - friday..... you're fine.. You'll stay sane and your body won't be getting completely used to only GOOD food.... change is good in anything we do... even diet. I hope to hear more on this and what others have to say.... BUMP
wow what a ambigious question. What kinda of diet are you on ? What type of metabilism do you have ? What are your stats-age-history ? Lifting experience ? How much cardio ? Everybody is different and what works for one, wont work for others. Myself, when dieting give myself one meal -once a week where I can eat whatever I want (usually pizza).
I cheat mostly on Sunday.Usually pizza,maybe I'll have a 3Muskateers too.Then Monday I torture myself in the gym.Sometimes I actually feel guilty cheating.I guess it stems from the fact that I used to weigh 330lbs,I weigh 200lbs now,and I don't like getting into bad eating habits,its easy to do when you start cheating.Its kind of like a double edged sword for me.
i have one cheat day, i would eat such foods as pizza, iceceam, fastfood.

Nice neighborhood here in the diet section,pretty clean not much crime.
once every 14 days, but i dont do a normal "cheat" per se. I just go off and eat way above my normal caloric intake. For example this past Saturday I took in about 5500 calories, but most of it was clean, I just took my carbs way up....I save true cheats for special occasions: holidays, bdays, etc.
i think you should stick with a cheat meal. not a cheat day. whole days can be detrimental to any success you've had recently. i have a cheat meal when friends or a hot ass lady wants to take me out. then i get whatever i want. but never a whole day, no.
