Protein before bed. Eggs and Whey ok?
I read that whey isnt all that great to take before bed because its digested within 45 minutes and your muscles need something to feed them throughout the night.
I have my protein spaced out and normally I take 48 grams of Whey before bed but after reading this I thought of an alternative and wanted to get some opinions on it.
24 grams of Whey with 3 Eggs right before bed. Im still worried to eat that late but it doesnt hurt to try it for a week.
Will this work out ok? I need the 24 grams of whey to fill out my daily protein needs and the 3 eggs can get me that last bit of protein and give my muscles something to munch on while I sleep.
