I don't understand calories in raw vs cooked

    Hello guys!
Two meals of mine per day should be around 300cals.

Now, Turkey breast, ground, cooked 125g = 300calories.
    But raw, 210g = 300calories.

NOW, I don't cook it with anything other than PAM and spices...so which one should I choose?
    THanks!

    Why? Isn't there any shrinkage?
For example there is water in raw ground turkey....
So what am I to do? It shrinks...and the fat is dispersed.

Example: 1 oz raw does not equal 1 oz cooked (as it shrinks and disperses water)
What do I do? Mine is already cooked, w/ no calories added, just spices

    I understand your reply....
But what if I cook in bulk...everything is done...should I then count cooked?

you always count calories before cooking, so if they are already cooked then use the calorie profile of the raw meat

Are you saying that when you measure 210 gms raw turkey, that the serving = 300cal? And then are you saying that after you cook it, it weights 125gms, but still the same serving that you weighed out at 210gms (just that it lost 85gms of water during the cooking process), and is therefore 300cal? And then are you asking how this can be?

What do you mean which one should you choose? If they both equal 300 cal, arent they the same either way?
