scales acuracy
can anyone tell me how acurate are the scales that measure B/F i know that there are different brands, but i believe that even the cheap ones operate on an electrical pulse system that is supose to be very acurate.

They aren't accurate at all in my opinion. They're kind of like the BMI chart.

there are alot of factors that can affect their accuracy, they work by sending a electric current through your body and measuring the resistance it has to go against, as fat is easier for a current to flow through then muscle the more resistance the less bf%, the problem with this is that scales only measure your lower body and if you are dehydrated then that can affect your reading, to make these scales more accurate i would use them at the same time everyday and average the results over a week

Buy some calipers and use the seven point formula.
