sucks bad when you have a preggo wife that does not cook and wants to go out to eat ALL the TIME! What do you guys get at diff restraunts?
Ill start it off. We were gonna go to spagetti factory last night cause she loves at as well as Olive Garden. I got lucky and we went to Izzys and I just ate salad with a little light ranch and like 7 grilled chicken thighs and legs
coldstone ice cream. the biggest sized container they have. with 20 different things in it. thats what i get every other day. hmmm, yummy.

I start off with the first serious post to your question. It doesnt matter where I go, I will order anything with chicken or fish and I try to lay off the additives like the sauces and extra cheese and stuff. I will order either a salad or fruit with the main meat. I'm just starting to get serious about my diet though, so I could use some more pointers.
if you go to a breakfast place, get an omelet made with egg beaters
for lunch a grilled chicken salad or chicken breast
if your wife likes italian than ask if they have chicken with olive oil sprinkled on it or something like that

Its all about your motivation and self control. I eat out almost every single day and I'm cutting and doing a wonderful job at it. I eat grilled chicken or steak everywhere I go with a plain baked potato or side salad or fruit. Stay away from cheeses, butters, MOST sauces, sodas, oils, fried foods, and you should be good. It's not that difficult, just takes some getting used to and adjusting.
I go to Subway, Quiznos, Moes, Chipolte, Chilis, Fridays, Houstons, J Alexanders, Cheesecake, PF Changs, etc and never have a problem eating clean.
love PFchangs man! oh yaa.... i hit up subway all the time if i am forced to eat out. otherwise the wife has been good about letting me pick dinner locations. had olive garden last month and it was oh so good. maybe i can have it again end of summer. im tryin to be REALY strict

You can get them pretty much anywhere and you don't have to eat the tortillas. I can't believe no one else posted this. You can diet on just restaraunt fajitas.
Just eat the meat (chicken, steak, or shrimp) and the salsa, sour cream, and possibly the cheese if you don't care about fat. Ditch the tortillas. Always pronounce it wrong when you order.

I'm with forgiveness on the fajitas....
Fajitas...Qdoba and Baja Fresh, cheap,quick and there's usually hot lil things behind the counter.
Baja fresh is way good... baja burrito!
