flank steak is not the only cut you need. you can choose from many. if it looks fatty, dont buy it. most steaks are pretty lean actually. if you want to make sure, go for the round cuts, specifically eye of round. but i do eat steaks with some fat because the body cannot digest and assimilate protein without fat. just dont get real fatty cuts.

Oh BTW, you're in LA like I am. I dont see where you have a problem. Go to Costco, they have it for sure but its a big piece, get ready to cut them up before you freeze it.

Top Round London Broil. Cut it into like 1/2 inch thick cutlets or so and throw them on the grill or foreman, its like having little mini steaks. F'in amazing. about 6g of fat in 3.5 oz.

What abbot said. London Broil is one of the leanest, but also one of the toughest from my experience.

top round steak all the way! Tastes good and is probly one of the leanest cut steaks you can get at like the market. my advice, get like a bjs or costco card and get it in bulk you'll save a ton of cash lol....

yeah we've got 96% lean ground beef everywhere. I personally dont like eating lean steak because I dont prepare it right and since its for my nutrition purposes, I keep it plain but if I go out to a restaurant, Id choose steak because they make it right. So for meat, I like 96% lean ground beef.
