The non-training days are where i suggested they should be.

I'd halve the pwo shake however.

A side note.. what kind of 'whey' are you using that has that many grams of carbs in it?

I'm assuming that's two servings listed (48gr pro; 16gr carbs)... but how is the carb-count so high?

Yes, Nark you are correct in estimating the protein. 2 servings of whey isolate from Protein Factory. The carbs are high because I was using the 2:1 carb/pro ratio suggested PWO by some members. This is a rice based carb supplement called Oligdextrin (Protein Factory as well) with only 2g of sugar per serving and is supposed to be superior to the waxy maize complex that has been getting mixed reviews lately. Benefits (open for debate) are quick adsorption PWO as well as being a low GI source. http://proteinfactory.com/shop/produ...7&cat=2&page=2
If you suggest a 1:1 carb/pro ratio instead this would be 1 scoop of Oligdextrin PWO giving me 46g of carbs (62g including protein carbs) with no fats thus reducing my carb intake on WO days to a total of 268.15g. Total kcal for WO days would then be 2710. As always solid advice brother and I look forward to your response.

Where have you read about Oligdextrin induces quick absorption, all the while having a low GI? I'm looking to re-up on my PWO carb sources and never came across Oligdextrin, but seems promising.

    It does seem promising...

The school of nutrition which i subscribe to is based around a slow trickle of nutrients however.

So.. I'm not sure that it'd fit into my dieting style.

So before I can say yay or nay, I'd have to try it myself.

In which case, I may order 10 or so pounds next month...and log it.

I'd suggest that anyone who's currently using diets which they put together based on info I've given them, who is interested in using the above product, log their use.

It'd go a long way in helping others.

Q... are you planning on keeping a log?

Yes Nark I will be keeping a log. I have about 10lbs. of Oligdextrin as a trial run to see how I like it. I will keep everyone updated. This is my first run with this supplement as well.
