    wow this is amazing

So when it came to diet, i lacked horribly. I always ate 200 or so grams of protein a day a lot came from shakes though. and my carbs were horrible carbs. well for the last week after researching this forum i started eating about 300 grams of protein a day all of it coming from lean protien... chicken, tuna, egg whites. i eat about 150-200 grams of carbs a day. now all my carbs come from oats, i get very very little sugar. my fats come from flax seed oil and the occasional peanuts. over the last week i have noticed changes already. its crazy. i never thought that it would make that big of difference. Im trying to lean out slowly and this is helping but at the same time i feel like im getting bigger. im currently at 200lbs and 17 percent body fat. All i gotta say is study up newbies on this forum, there is a lot of great info!!

When you add the cardio up the protien to 2g's a/lb, get bcaa's and make sure you are feeding your self PW. Good work though stick with it and you will be quite impressed, you should also check out some yams and cinnamin in that oatmeal taste great and has wonderful benifits. Good luck getting Shreaded!!!

When do you take your BCAAs? Pre-cardio, between meals, with meals. How many grams, ect?

I haven't heard BCAAs talked up in a while and I found a unopened bottle in my supplement box, thinking about putting it to use due to 5x cardio weeks.

I used to take it only pre-cardio in AM, about 3gms, ya'lls thoughts?

I think he meant put yams in your oatmeal if you like the flavor with cinnamon. 4 oz of yams and .5 cups of oats are both about 25grams of starchy carbs so if you don't like the yams then don't mix it with the oatmeal. Yams are great source but putting the yams with the oatmeal just to get the yams out of the way could give you more carbs than you are looking for. If you want 50 carbs in your meal then use the .5 oats and 4oz yams. They are pretty close in values.
