Sushi Rice (Kohikiri) is LOW GI as.....

    ... brown rice???!!?

can someone help me out on this?? What is the GI of that Japanese rice (kohikiri)???

i love sushi!!! but if the rice they use is a simple carb (since it is white rice) then ill make without..... but if there white rice is a special kind of white rice that is low GI, then im down for sushi !!!!!

so can someone inform me a bit on sushi rice if they know? thanks alot in advance!!

I actually commented on this on a previous thread.... http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=352983 .....Its actually lower GI than Brown. Problem is, most restaurants just use sticky rice, NOT authentic Kohikiri.

Thanks bro, you will be. Dedication, discipline, and never stop learning....Yeah just ask the sushi makers next time you go, they'll know what your talking about, they may not speak English, lol, but they'll recognize the name of the rice.
