crockpot diet
I am about to get my hands on a large amount of cheap meat that must be crockpoted. I though, why not put all my nutritional needs in one pot. Im thinking put enough red potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, mushrooms, brockly to add up to my daily nutrional needs of carbs and then enough meat to add up to what I am going to consume per day and then just eat out of the crock pot all day long.
any down side to getting my daily nutrional needs like this?

The only downside is deliciousness. You'll be a-ok.

Oh yeah...are you using water or broth to slow cook in? If you use broth (like I usually do) I would buy the low sodium brand. Kroger makes a good low sodium broth that comes in a box.

You could use gravy after it comes out of the crock pot. I don't think it will fare too well in it. But maybe. Crock pot makes it easy, the meat is tender as hell and the best part, no dishes to clean.

i make roast sirloin quite a bit. You just have to watch on the broth. Some of them have very high sodium content. If everything in there is for an entire day the sodium content actually wouldn't be that high for your total in 1 day.

Sodium for sure if you are using broth. Only other downside is you might get bored of it after the 5th or 6th meal....
