    energy drinks...?

    Energy drinks are bad right? like monster red bull and stuff like that?

    IMHO, yes. Contain tons of sugars, HFCS.

    Thanks, Im going to keep using my pre pump N.O.explode, i find im getting wired to it tho, i did a workout yesterday without it, *yawn*...

    i wouldnt slam an energy drink though before u work out, could be too much caffiene at once then bad on your heart once u start working out, i just sip on one while i work out if i need it.

    if you get the low carb/low sugar they aren't really bad for you. infact the ginseng, carnitine, etc in them is good for you in moderation

    the caffeine won't hurt you, studies have shown a 200-400mg dose to be beneficial to working out, i down over a gram of caffeine before i workout and it helps my workout focus tremendously

    Caffiene pre-workout is not bad. Most of these supps like NO-Xplode and things of that sort all contain caffine abt 200 mg. (which is reccomended)

    caffine is also anticatabolic, or was found to be in one study i read
