    How is this wheat bread

    I was wondering how this wheat bread is. It is labeled 100% whole wheat, but I know that can be deceiving sometimes.

    ingredients: whole wheat flour, water, wheat gluten, high fructose corn syrup, wheat germ, yeast

    then there is a huge list of less than 2% ingredients.

    let me know if this is any good or if i should switch to a different brand.

    Anything with high fructose corn syrup isn't good for ya, ive read a few studies that say it actually makes you feel hungrier, i could be mistaken but ive always been under the assumption its a no no

    As long as it says Whole Wheat Flour and not enriched, or bleached flour then is good whole wheat bread. X1nn3R is right that high fructose corn syrup is bad stuff, if you can find a whole wheat bread without it, so much the better.

    100% whole GRAIN is even better, and yea if it says HFCS, dont even touch it that bread is garbage. aunt millies organic wheat is good stuff.

    I stay away from bread altogether, but if you must, make sure its whole grain and not flour.
