    Chicken and estrogen!!

I AM OFF CYCLE RIGHT NOW
i have heard that chicken consumption will promote estrogenic activity, thus harming muscle gain and fatloss performance. (since the chickens are injected with hormones) i take 450 gram of protein a day and 400 comes from CHICKEN FILLET!!! is this just a hype by the media or is this true

i am off-cycle right now thus this estrogenic activity will play a great role in effecting my performance

will supplementing with proviron helps? or is the estrogen in chickens are just bs!

im feeling a little soft lately, may be it's just in my head..

    any studies supporting your argument?

i dont wanna swap my diet, i wanna keep chicken as the key diet

I have never heard of this and am pretty confident it is bs. Chicken does not promote estrogen.

I guess it would depend on where you got your chicken from, i have heard of chicken being shot up with hormones and what not, never seen any hard evidence though. I eat foster farms though, i little bit more expensive but full of flavor and really moist

I've actually read several articles about this and they said not to worry about chickens because chickens are such a small animal that it is not cost effective to inject them with expensive estrogen hormones, however turkeys are much larger and do get injected with the estrogen hormones.

However you can solve the problem completely by purchasing organic chicken or organic turkey which have not been treated by hormones.

I suppose the only thoughts i have on this topic is that bodybuilders have been eating chicken in large amounts for years. I say bs.

off cycle i'd def recommend igf-1 lr3. it won't affect your hormone levels and you will see gains (your muscles will look good/harder similar to on cycle as well).

well i it makes sense depending on what hormones the chickens are given BUT if that is the case the it would apply to ALL meat, including beef. and i could have swore that i read somewhere that chickens arent allowed to given hormones. i forget what it was, but theres something that chickens cant get that all other animals do.

Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in chicken.
