problem with chicken breast
so ive been gettin 180 cals from 6 oz chicken breast then i got some new stuff thats 156 cals for 8 oz so what now i just eat more seems so weird two different brands have such different cals. what brands do u guys mostly eat i try to get groccery outlet cheap stuff cuz im on a budget

I do the exact same thing. I guess I assumed that the difference in the calories was just because one company trimmed off a bit more fat than the other. I always trim off all the fat anyways so I just disregard the difference and calculated around the lowest of the brands.
Curious to see if anyone thinks differently tho...

theres nuthing im not telling u tysons 4oz chicken is different then purdue is different then this one is diff from that the one i had bought today was 78 cals 18 gs protein 8 cals from fat the other day i had one that was 120 cals for 4oz 32 grams protein and 15 cals from fat the brands chickens jsut vary i guess. i think ill try the plain-jane next time im down there. but my concern was if theres less calls eat more to make it fit my marco's correct

if you know the exact macros, you can calculate the calories or anything yourself. it has to be the fat content since i cant imagine chicken breast having more than a gram or two of carbs

there you go. now just use that for all ur chicken breast. a little fat here and a little fat there won't do anything at all. again....4cals.

Don't forget to take into account some chicken products are "enhanced" with 15-20% of a solution of water, salt, phosphate or water, salt, evaporated cane juice.
These definetely can impact the nutritionals, especially the macros. I sell the products day in and day out and even products labeled all natural ingredients can be suspect.
