    How is this diet?

Here's a sample of a day very typical for the diet I have been following. I'm trying to cut body fat, maintain or gain lean muscle mass. I'm incredibly endomorphic.

If I need to post stats, I will, but I've posted them up quite a lot so don't want to be annoying.

    Sept 15 Diet

Another difficult day at work time-wise. No break between 0900 and 1400. I ran to the break room and slogged down a carton of liquid egg whites, and drank protein shake on the way home so I’d be able to workout soon at the gym. No cravings, though, and pretty full after dinner.

    Meal 1 (0800)
Liquid egg whites prot 48, carb 0, fat 0
    Almonds prot 8, carb 8, fat 15
    Oats prot 5, carb 27, fat 3
    Grapefruit prot 0, carb 18, fat 0
    Prot 61
    Carb 53
    Fat 18

    Meal 2 (1100)
Liquid egg whites prot 48, carb 0, fat 0
    Prot 48
    Carb 0
    Fat 0

    Meal 3 (1400)
Prot powder prot 55, carb 3, fat 2
    Prot 55
    Carb 3
    Fat 2

    Meal 4 (1730 PWO)
Prot powder prot 55, carb 3, fat 2
    Cytomax (dextrose/maltose) prot 0, carb 44, fat 0
    Prot 55
    Carb 47
    Fat 2

    Meal 5 (1900)
Fried chicken breasts prot 55, carb 0, fat 3
    Cauliflower/broccoli mix prot 3, carb 9, fat 0
    2T olive oil prot 0, carb 0, fat 28
    Prot 58
    Carb 9
    Fat 31

    Meal 6 (2130)
Turkey breast prot 55, carb 0, fat 3
    1 c. romaine hearts prot -, carb -, fat –
    3 T mayo prot 0, carb 0, fat 15
    Prot 55
    Carb 0
    Fat 18

    Total kcals 2415

    Prot 332g 55%
    Carb 112g 19%
Fat 71g 26% this is about 90% unsaturated; the mayo I use is olive oil, only .5g sat'd fat per 5 g

I'm a big guy, but incredibly endomorphic. This diet is with 30-40 min of cardio 4-5 days per week, and 3-4 days of lifting.

I've only cheated twice in about 3 weeks methinks, and it was with cheese, no carbs. I get my carbs all before noon, unless I have an afternoon work out, then I get about 25-50% in dextrose/maltose mixed with whey isolates for a PWO shake.

I thought I would see body fat really start to melt, according to the Milos vids, but I don't see much of anything. I know it's been a short time, but I would expect some results, eh? Zero change in weight, either.

    HGH 4 IUs x 5 days, 2 off
    test cyp 220 mg/wk

Any chance the lifting is giving me a bit of muscle, and it's equilibrating with fat loss? I've been on a reduced carb, high protein diet total now for one month, just this particular diet for the time specified above. Comments welcome.

The only thing that really stands out to me i that there's very little real food in meals 2, 3 and 4. I asume that's during your working hours?

Ah yeah, and typically I try not to do more than one shake a day. But when I work without a break I figure a quick shake or liquid egg white is better than nothing.

I could have eaten on meal 3, but since I was headed to the gym in 30 min, I assumed better to have something digestible on board.

My mainstays are usually chicken or turkey breast, or tuna.

Agreed. I addressed that above. I forgot about the multiple shakes today when I copied and pasted the diet from my diary. I usually keep it to one shake a day. I am forced to do 2 or so on 2 days a week.

I used to have the same problem. I would bring some chicken breast cut up into chunks mixed with brown rice and broccoli to work in a cooler. Two servings, each in a sandwich baggie. I'd take one of the bags to the bathroom with me and eat it quick on the shitter LOL

That's not a bad idea. I tried wolfing down my 55g of protein worth of chicken breast one day, and about needed a Heimlich in the break room, so I resorted to the shakes. Maybe I'll get a killer blender and just make a chicken shake...

And I don't think we'll be seeing the "Chicken Shake" at Dairy Queen anytime soon, but it gets the job done LOL

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I'll try to come up with something less full of sugar for the work shake.

Maybe sweet potato, water, and tuna. Yum!
