    hi everyone i am a newbie to this. i am 24 5"10 and weigh 14st 7lb i am from engalan so we do it in st. i have been over weight for a while now and have decided to put this right. i was surfing the net for a quick fix and luckily i came accros this website. i have learnt more from this fourm than i ever thought possible for free! i have learnt that there is no quick fix just got to eat right and get down that gym! so really just wanted to say thanks to everyone that will post and help me on my life changing journey. from reading i see that you all take a lot of protien is this right for some one wanting to loose weight? should i be doing just cardio for now or should i do weights as well. thanks again.. im almost out the door with the family i will post my diet soon.

    welcome and good luck everyone is a huge help on this site and the knowledge is incredible all i did was post my diet and people citiqued it they are a great group of people

    from reading i see that you all take a lot of protien is this right for some one wanting to loose weight? yes, protein is essential and on a cutter will help tremendously due to the fact that for every 100cal of protein you eat up to 40cal is burned off as heat during digestion, while carbs only 10-15cal and fat 2-3 cal, also, protein will fill you up and is harder to overeat than the other two macros

    should i be doing just cardio for now or should i do weights as well. thanks again.. both, they are synergistic, meaning that when you put them together your results will increase exponentially as compared to just one or the other

    hows the diet working marty? hope you're seeing results and are happy with it?
