    when to start diet?

    don`t know if this is in the right place
    just wondering when is the best time after first cycle to try and strip away some fat
    gained a bit around the waist while on cycle
    i will leave it till pct is finished but would it be a good idea to cut calories after that and start some cardio which i didn`t do on cycle
    i have just started wk 3 of pct got 1 week left
    lost about 3lbs in the last 3 wks
    age 47
    weight 191 down from 194 at the end of cycle
    BF 12% up about 2% i think
    calories 4000
    protein 350
    carbs 550
    fats 100
    all approx
    got a good knowledge of diet and what works for me
    eat very clean through cycle
    any advise

    I have no first hand cycle experience, but I don't know why you couldn't cut your calories even before your pct is complete.
    Maybe knock off about 500 calories (percentage-wise: 50% from carbs 35% from fats and 15% from protein) and turn your diet into more of a cut than a bulk. Also fire up the cardio if you haven't already.
    Maybe i'm off base here, but bump for more opinions.

    Best to let your body recover a bit before starting the cutting imo. I wouldnt cut until atleast a few weeks after pct.

    Honestly you can start whenever you want but I do agree with allowing your body to recover and get your levels back to nomral before you start cutting cals.

    Cardio should have been done all along...you can wait or begin now, just start off easy...3 times a week 20 minutes and work your way up in time and frequency.

    cheers i`ll start cardio next wk
    just starting wk 3 of pct and still only lost about 3-4lbs so i think its safe now
    didn`t feel that much of a shut down during cycle anyway just got a bit of acne
    probably leave carbs as they are for next wk and then reduce by 100g the wk after.
