    How much greens per meal ?

    Hi Guy's. I have decided to use green beans as my choice of veg to go along with my diet. I am a little confused as to how much should be consumed with each meal. I am eating 6 meals daily and five of them are pro/carb. I have read that the amount of veg you take in will depend on your daily calorie intake but then I was watching milos sacrev's secret's of the pro's in the stickies's and he states that you can eat as much as you like. The more the better really. So this is where I am stuck between the two. I was thinking of having a cup of greens with each of my meals. Can anyone give me there opinion regarding this subject. Thanks.

    If you look at the nutritional information on the back of a can of green beans, there are very little carbs in it. This is why you can basically eat as much as you want. Most green vegetables will be low in calories. What you have to watch out for it the sodium content, as most canned veggies are high in that.

    I see what you mean. It is frozen bean's I am using. Per 100g their is only 4.4g of carbs. The packets nutrition info also state's no sodium content.

    Depends I average 1-2 cups per meal...

    I go with a 1+cup of broccoli in most of my meals, i don't see why that would hurt you if you're using green beans. Turns out to be about 48g of carbs with half of that being fiber. Solid addition, IMO.
