    sodium question

i am currently on a cutting and my buddy told me that as long as i drink enough water, sodium wont make me bloat too bad.

He claimed sodium only really stays in your system if you have a low water intake. Is he an idiot or is he not?

    Thanks

While if you drink tons of water it does flush it out it is still best to avoid sodium as much as possible.

one of the stickies in this section of the forum actually says sodium is intake is ok, as long as you dont mind the slight bloat you may get from it.

    Q: Is sodium an issue?
A: Outside of the bloating issue, or if you have high cholesterol, no.

If you are wantingto look your hardest and leaning out than yes I would avoid additional sodium besides what's alreday in your foods. It will cause bloating and drinking plenty of water will flush some out it will not flush it all out...
