I just got 6 pieces of sushi, salmon and tuna, but I had the white rice replaced with the brown rice..
Only thing I fear is the fat in the salmon and the brown rice?
Besides that, and the salt from the soy, can it really be that bad??

Really depends on the rest of your diet. When I cut I usually don't have meals that have pro, fat and carbs so whenever I have sushi I call it a cheat. Besides that, I over eat sushi anyway so it has to be a cheat for me.
yea.. I mean Sashimi has to be fine, I think there probably isn't much of a limit even when cutting, unless of course you add soy and salt yourself to death.Quote:

never eat your carbs and your fats at the same time always eat all your protein first. its that simple.
Go to the sushi buffets man, thats where you can have unlimited sushi. (In moderation)
I would count it as a cheat, because just a few pieces isnt enough!
But if youre that worried about it, weigh the fish.
Id say sashimi is better, not only because it is pure protein and fat, the rice may have some sugar to sweeten things up.

The sushi rice seasong will have sodium in, but sounds like you're making yourself so you'll have control over it.
How will you make the brown rice sticky? (Potentially sounds dodgy, but you know what I mean I hope!)
No I did not make it myself.. But I do make my own a lot. And to make Brown Rice sticky well here is the trick.Quote:

even if the fat and varb thing was a bad thing, the protein lowers the gi so much and the fats in the fish are ***** 3 so its not an issue at all.

if you're worried about the fat in the salmon.... then you really need to hangout here in the diet forum more often.....the fat in salmon is good for you and you need good fats to CUT yes CUT......that being said Sushi is one of the best meals you can have.....just don't go carzy and have it 5 x a weekQuote:
