    Acidosis...

Just some rambling thoughts here and im too sick to think any further. My question is if high protein diets cause acidosis, which can create an unfriendly environment for muscle growth among other things. arent we in a sense making it harder to grow. every teacher or doctor ive talked to or article ive read shows the negative aspects of consuming as much protein as we do. anyway. if im correct. what can be done to make our blood more alkaline?

im not sure...if im not mistaken ketoacidosis is a result of the breakdown of fatty acids. what im referring to would be the deamination of amino acids when too much protein is taken in. maybe they are the same tho?
