    Question breakfast..

since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, whats the best substitute for eggs whites ( since eggs whites are the best protein source in a high-protein diet) ???

what do you mean? you can't really substitute egg whites.. its not like steak for chicken or something like that. i would guess if you can't get eggs, just any high protein food would work?

and i wouldn't call them THE BEST source.

    Perfection takes time bud!

    Eggs
whey (good for right away when you wake up but i wouldn't use it for all the protein for meal 1)
    Casein (good for before bed)
Steak as long as it's lean or you trim the fat.
    Lean ground beef
    Tuna
    Tilapia
    salmon
    venison
    elk
    horse
    bison
    partridge
    grouse
    rabbit
    squirrel
    blue-gill
    beef jerkey
    haggis
    turkey
    wild boar
    all natural peanut butter
    nuts / legumes

These are just a few that come to mind....

Horse is popular in other countries... My grandfather said he loves the taste of horse... Very sweet tasting... I've eaten squirrel and it's popular in the eastern US... It tastes surprisingly good too...

Scramble egg whites; mix in with porridge oats; 1 scoop of chocolate whey.

Cannot even taste the egg. It's delicious. Try it.

Its not a myth, though salmonella is more likely to affect the elderly, children, and those with weak immune systems. I think only 1 in like 30,000 eggs are contaminated and alot who contract it don't even know it. There is the biotin deficiency aspect, but thats another story.

Bottom line is it's ok to do, but IMO its better to do it sparingly.

I was always led to believe drinking raw eggs simply goes straight through you; the body does not utilize the protein. At least half as effectively anyway.

It is harder to digest yes. Cooked vs Raw is something like 90.9 ± 0.8 and 51.3 ± 9.8%, respectively.
