1/2 cup of oats has 5grams if from what i understand incompletely protein but i consume it with lean proteins as well should i could this protein towards my marco's? as well as the protein in red and sweet potatoes???

^^^ typically vegtable proteins have a low bioavailibilty(with some exceptions) but they are proteins none the less. I dont know for sure but the amounts are so minimal i doubt it would make a difference in the big picture.
but say i eat 4 cups of oats a day and plus potatoes say a total of 300grams of carbs a day through taters and oats that protein must count right???
I would only count complete proteins.
Agreed ^ I don't count incomplete proteins in my macros either.
I dont count proteins from fibrous veggies but definitely count proteins from oats and other grains. Especially if you are doing any type of total calorie computations. You could end up 200-300 calories off very easily.
I count them, but I always make sure there is an excess of complete protein coming from other sources in all meals... minimum of at least 45g per meal should come from whole protein sources imo
Im cutting and my LBM is like 155-160 and im eating about 220grams of protein a day
