    Question losing fat

    i know diet and cardio for heart rate for a man is 220-age times .75, whats the formula for a girl? is it the same?

    and whats the best heart rate everyone on here says 60-75 percent for fat loss but bb.com calc says like 150?

    it depends on a person's age... for example... I'm 24 and my hr at 70% is 139 bpm, but for fat burning at 50%, it's 118

    i feel high intensity cardio in a fed state is best IMO the studies are back and forth so do what ever cardio that u like

    it is dif for a girl - check out some tri athletes sights for the formula but it is like the one you posted minus 10%

    just wondering i know my hr but my cousin just started to get into the gym trying to lose weight and i didnt want to misguide her because i was unsure of female formula
