So, does anyone have any good/tasty recipes for making some homemade bars?

2 cups natural peanut butter
16 tsp honey, you can add however much you like
3 scoops of whey, again you can add more if you like
2 cups dry oats
olive oil or flax if you like for extra calories but I didn't include this in my first batch
Heat the PB and honey till it's a little runny, mix the other ingredients in and then pack it into a brownie tray and refrigerate utnil it's hard enough to cut into bars.
6 bars equals:
933 calories per bar
44g protein
71g of carbs
Interesting idea. I think I will use blue agave sweetener instead of honey though.
Nearly a thousand calories a bar? Thats the equivalent of two double cheese burgers..

Nice one BigSexy, 'preciate the link. I might give that a go next week. Likewise, does anyone else have any goodens? I made some yesterday from a recipe I pulled off the net:
Half cup of Oats
Half Cup of Flour
1/4 Cup of Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup of syrup
2 egg whites mixed in with a lil milk
1/2 Cup of Whey protein powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Does that look pretty heavy to you guys? Anything you would change/discard? Im open to suggestions.
i used to have a ebook of receipes i bought off ebay for 1$, it had 100 or so homemade bars you could make, i don't know if it's still up though
