whey is not needed. However post workout is a lot easier to do a shake than solid food IMO.

i would use it post workout for quick uptake of protein into the muscles to start rebuilding, research the "window of oppratunity method" it explains what happens within half hour of workout and what is needed

I would reccomend at least one per day post workout. Instead of eating a peice of chicken which can take hours to digest, it would be beneficial to use whey which will get into the blood within 20 minutes.

I would definitely suggest Whey. Lots of amino acids are included in whey proteins which are going to help your protein synthesis and speed up the digestion of the protein. I would strongly recomment it!

A lot of people stay away from Whey now. If you go home after a workout and eat like 8oz of chicken breast, and some brown rice, it would be much better for you then the whey. (within 30 minutes of the workout, maybe even bring some chicken breast, and leave it in your car, so you can eat while driving!! haha, that's what i began doing lately.)

might be prudent to mention you want to shoot 10ius of insulin pwo as well ... http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=371465..and need fast protein utilization as well as simple carbs for that to be safe and effective. Leaving that out isnt prudent on your part. IMO
I wouldnt look for the answers u want to hear ..id look for the experienced answers that are proven safe and effective...

Not sure if that's true, I think whey with the BCAAs in it is alot better. First time i've ever heard that food is better then a shake pwo.

I think it's better everywhere else but pwo i'm going with that whey baby.
