Caffeine and Insulin
Caffeine...I've been reading as much as I can about cutting because that what I've been doing or at least trying...what a slow process...anyway...I've read how caffeine affects insulin ...My pre-workout pills contain caffeine. Do you think this is a problem? Also I've read that splenda also affects insulin?? Is this true?? Man, this cutting thing theres alot to learn....

caffeine preworkout is fine, it actually increases fat oxidation(fat burning) and lowered perceived exertion
the packeted splenda contains 1g of maltodextrin per packet i believe, so using several packets can affect insulin , though i wouldn't worry too much about it

I believe caffeine actually lowers insulin and increases cortisol and raises testosterone pwo when taken pre-wo. Someone posted an article on here some time back.
Seems beneficial to me during a cut... after all cortisol breaks down fat
